Jordan Carroll
I just want to say a formal hello. We don’t often get to make introductions in person anymore so allow me to greet you digitally.
I am a Massachusetts born and Boston based Cinematographer and Photographer. My journey started right after High School. I did not know what I wanted to do with my life. I had a hunch, and like any good detective I kept prying after the truth. The truth was I somehow knew I didn’t want to go to college. At the time it seemed strange and I didn’t trust myself. I am glad to say that I did trust myself! I have been working as a photographer and videographer for more than 6 years so far. Each year I feel as though I have learned more in the small time frame than I have in my entire life. This is still true. At the moment I am operating at a professional level delivering videos and photos that make my clients cry (tears of joy). To my surprise making people cry is actually a good thing, who knew? I never imaged I would get here but I knew if I kept working at it I could be proud of myself one day. That day is today. I am proud of who I have become and how I operate my personal and business life. This is not the end for me. I have HUGE goals, I cant understate that enough. I desire to direct movies. Thats a very broad and general goal while also presenting itself as extremely exclusive and prestigious. It really is exclusive. Less than 1% success rate type of exclusive. I am at the beginning of that journey. How I look at it is not if I succeed or not. That is not important. It is the process that is important. Even at this early stage in my career the process has brought me here, and here is pretty good! So I soldier on towards my goals while also delivering videos and photos that exceed the expectations of my clients. If I don’t make it all the way to the top I will land somewhere excellent.
